What is CVE-2026-43976?

The wger gym management software has a vulnerability that permits unauthorized users to access sensitive information. Prior to version 2.6, a flaw in the gym-scope guard allows a trainer without gym assignment to access private admin notes, uploaded documents, and user data from any unaffiliated user. The absence of proper validation for gym assignments means that when conditions meet specific criteria, confidential data can be exposed. This could lead to significant privacy concerns for users and compromises the integrity of system data. Version 2.6 addresses this issue by implementing enhanced access checks.
