What is CVE-2026-44230?

RT, an open source enterprise-grade issue and ticket tracking system developed by Best Practical, is susceptible to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This issue affects versions 5.0.4 to 5.0.9 and 6.0.0 to 6.0.2. If an attacker tricks an authenticated RT user into clicking a crafted URL, they can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the user's browser session, leading to potential unauthorized actions or data breaches. The vulnerability has been remediated in versions 5.0.10 and 6.0.3.
