What is CVE-2026-44231?

The RT issue tracking system has a vulnerability within its REST 2.0 API that allows privileged (non-administrative) users to access authentication credentials of other users, including those with administrative rights. This flaw enables unauthorized access to sensitive information by leveraging the exposed credentials through RT's feed endpoints. Furthermore, the request that reveals these credentials also rotates them, resulting in the invalidation of existing feed URLs across the instance. This issue has been rectified in versions 5.0.10 and 6.0.3.

Affected Version(s)
