The Snappier compression library, a C# implementation of the Snappy compression algorithm, contains a vulnerability that leads to an infinite loop during the decompression of malformed framed-format Snappy streams. This issue occurs with streams as small as 15 bytes and can result in a denial of service. Users of Snappier versions prior to 1.3.1 should upgrade to mitigate this risk.
