What is CVE-2026-44369?

CVAT, an open-source tool for interactive video and image annotation, has a security vulnerability that allows an attacker to inject malicious JavaScript code. This occurs when a user creates or edits an annotation guide. Consequently, whenever another user opens this guide, the injected script executes in their browser, potentially making unauthorized requests to CVAT on behalf of the victim. This issue affects versions 2.5.0 through 2.63.0 and has been resolved in version 2.64.0.
