What is CVE-2026-44416?
A vulnerability in the plugin-schema-registry component of Apache Ranger allows for remote code execution through arbitrary class instantiation. This could potentially let an unauthenticated attacker execute arbitrary code on the server, posing significant security risks. Users of Apache Ranger versions 2.8.0 and earlier are strongly advised to upgrade to version 2.9.0 to mitigate this vulnerability.
