What is CVE-2026-44595?

The Yamcs framework's IAM API had a vulnerability in the 'listUsers', 'getUser', 'listGroups', and 'getGroup' endpoints that allowed authenticated users, regardless of their privilege level, to access sensitive information about all user accounts. This included usernames, superuser status, and group memberships, exposing the system to potential abuse. The issue has been addressed in versions 5.12.7 and 5.13.0, which now enforce proper access controls.
