What is CVE-2026-44630?

A vulnerability in the Apache IoTDB RPC service arises from improper validation of length fields, potentially allowing remote unauthenticated attackers to induce a denial of service. By transmitting a maliciously crafted malformed Thrift frame, an attacker can exploit this weakness, leading to excessive memory allocation and possible crashes due to OutOfMemoryError. To mitigate this issue, users are strongly advised to upgrade to version 2.0.10, which addresses this vulnerability.
