What is CVE-2026-44649?

SillyTavern, a user-friendly interface for interacting with AI models, has a security flaw that allows any network client to authenticate as any user, including administrators, through malicious manipulation of HTTP headers. This occurs when configurations for Single Sign-On (SSO) with Authelia or Authentik are enabled without proper validation of the incoming headers, leaving the system open to unauthorized access. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.18.0.
