What is CVE-2026-44826?

The Vvveb CMS, a user-friendly content management system, has a vulnerability related to input validation in its cart-add endpoint. Previously, the software allowed negative integers to be submitted for the quantity parameter, which the server processed as valid input. This flaw led to critical downstream effects; as a result, line totals, subtotals, taxes, and grand totals could all be reported as negative values. Consequently, the customer-facing cart displayed a negative grand total, and the checkout process allowed users to complete purchases that resulted in orders with negative totals. This situation created misleading records in the merchant's database, falsely indicating that the business owed money to customers. This issue was rectified in version 1.0.8.2.
