What is CVE-2026-4510?

A vulnerability in PbootCMS versions up to 3.2.12 allows for cross site scripting (XSS) attacks due to improper handling of user-supplied input in the alert_location function of the MemberController.php file. Attackers can exploit this weakness by manipulating the backurl parameter, enabling them to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the affected user's session. Given that an exploit has been disclosed publicly, it poses a significant risk of remote exploitation, making it imperative for users to assess their installations and apply necessary mitigations.
