What is CVE-2026-45350?

Open WebUI, a self-hosted AI platform, has a vulnerability in its chat completion API that allows attackers to bypass tool restrictions. This issue arises because user-supplied parameters, including tool_ids and tool_servers, are not properly validated. As a result, unauthorized users can invoke server tools by providing the correct identifiers, leveraging stored authentication tokens to gain tool privileges. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 0.8.6.
