What is CVE-2026-46437?

The wger workout and fitness manager, a popular open-source application, is susceptible to an authentication issue where bearer-style API credentials remain valid even after a user logs out or changes their password. This allows malicious actors to exploit stolen DRF authtokens or JWT refresh tokens to gain unauthorized access to protected API endpoints until the tokens are either manually revoked or they naturally expire. Users are advised to upgrade to version 2.6, which includes a crucial patch for this vulnerability.
