What is CVE-2026-47117?

OpenMed versions prior to 1.5.2 expose a significant remote code execution vulnerability through improper handling of the 'model_name' parameter in the privacy-filter model loading path. This flaw allows attackers to supply a malicious name, which can lead to the loading of arbitrary Hugging Face models with executed code under the OpenMed service's privileges. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by providing a crafted model repository that contains harmful Transformers code, posing serious security risks.
