What is CVE-2026-47148?

In EmberZNet versions prior to v9.0.2, a vulnerability exists where malformed GetGroupMembership commands can lead to repeated reads beyond the intended message payload, ultimately causing the process to terminate unexpectedly. This issue is triggered by messages from devices that are already connected to the network, introducing potential risks for devices that support the Groups cluster. While no information leakage to the sender has been reported, the possibility of service disruptions remains a concern.
