What is CVE-2026-48099?

WsgiDAV, a flexible WebDAV server based on the WSGI framework, has a vulnerability that allows an encoded parent-directory segment in a WebDAV request path to escape the specified filesystem share root. This can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive files outside the intended directory structure. The vulnerability affects WsgiDAV versions up to 4.3.3 and has been addressed in the release of version 4.3.4, which mitigates this issue by preventing such escapable paths.
