What is CVE-2026-48222?

The Open ISES Tickets application prior to version 3.44.2 exhibits a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the ics213.php file. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to inject malicious JavaScript through the frm_add_str POST parameter, which is improperly sanitized. When a user submits a crafted request, the injected script can be executed in the victim's browser as part of the rendered HTML response. This poses a significant risk as users may unwittingly execute harmful scripts that compromise their local data or session.
