What is CVE-2026-48226?

Open ISES Tickets prior to version 3.44.2 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the os_watch.php script. This flaw enables authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript by sending unsanitized input through the 'ref' and 'mode_orig' POST parameters. When the crafted request is processed, the malicious JavaScript executes in the context of the victim's browser upon rendering the response, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure.
