What is CVE-2026-48234?

The Open ISES Tickets application prior to version 3.44.2 contains a flaw in the handling of the 'sort' and 'dir' GET parameters in portal/ajax/list_requests.php. This SQL injection vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to manipulate the query's semantics, enabling them to read, modify, or delete sensitive data in the database unchecked. Without proper sanitization or input validation, the risk of unauthorized access to database contents is significantly amplified.
