What is CVE-2026-48309?

Adobe Audition is susceptible to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that allows arbitrary code execution within the context of the current user. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by convincing users to open a specially crafted malicious file. When the file is opened, it can trigger the vulnerability, potentially allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code on the affected system.
