What is CVE-2026-48388?

The Adobe Photoshop Installer contains an Uncontrolled Search Path Element vulnerability, which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code within the context of the current user. By placing a malicious library in a directory accessed by the installer, unauthorized actions could be performed when the installer is executed. User interaction is required for this exploitation to occur, as the victim must initiate the installation process.
