What is CVE-2026-48507?

A security flaw in Snipe-IT, an IT asset and license management system, permits non-admin users with the users.edit permission to manipulate user access. This vulnerability enables them to lock out all admin users by altering the activated flag, preventing login access, and the ldap_import flag, inhibiting password reset requests. Users are advised to upgrade to version 8.6.0 to mitigate potential risks.
