What is CVE-2026-48527?

HAX CMS, utilized for managing microsites with PHP or NodeJs backends, is affected by a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the /system/api/saveNode endpoint. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with page editing permissions to exploit the system by injecting malicious event handler attributes without leading whitespace, thus bypassing the intended HTML sanitizer. The issue has been addressed in haxcms-nodejs version 26.0.1 and haxcms-php version 26.0.2, which users are recommended to upgrade to in order to secure their applications.
