What is CVE-2026-48552?

Nagios Core versions prior to 4.5.14 and Nagios XI versions before 2026R1.7 are exposed to a DOM-based cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue arises from unencoded JSON string values that can be reflected from stored fields into the DOM without proper sanitization. As a result, attackers can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browsers of users, potentially compromising user data and session integrity.
