What is CVE-2026-48745?

The Traccar Client, a mobile app designed for GPS tracking, contains a vulnerability in versions 9.7.19 and earlier where an attacker can exploit a crafted deep link. This deep link can modify all GPS tracking configuration settings without any user confirmation or notification, effectively redirecting telemetry to a server controlled by the attacker. This silent hijacking enables the attacker to gain persistent, real-time tracking of a victim’s location, compromising user privacy. The issue has been addressed in version 9.7.20.
