What is CVE-2026-48752?

Incus, a system container and virtual machine manager, has a vulnerability that could allow an attacker to manipulate files on the host system. Through a specially crafted image or instance backup, it is possible for malicious users to read, create, or modify arbitrary files. This could potentially lead to unauthorized command execution on the host machine. A fix was implemented in version 7.2.0 of Incus to address this issue.
