What is CVE-2026-48763?

The TypeBot chatbot builder tool has a vulnerability stemming from a deprecated public upload endpoint. This endpoint, accessible without authentication, allows attackers to generate presigned URLs for file uploads to an S3 bucket. By knowing a valid public typebotId and blockId, an unauthenticated user can exploit this flaw to upload arbitrary files, potentially breaching the privacy and integrity of other tenants’ data. The issue has been resolved in version 3.17.0, which effectively restricts access to the upload capability.
