What is CVE-2026-49475?

FreeSWITCH, a Software Defined Telecom Stack, is affected by an out-of-bounds memory access issue caused by a STUN packet with a declared attribute length that is shorter than the structure the parser expects. This flaw allows the parser to read and write beyond the intended memory boundaries, potentially leading to unexpected behaviors or system crashes. Users are advised to upgrade to version 1.11.0 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
