What is CVE-2026-49950?

The Xorbits Xoscar product version 0.11.2 is susceptible to an unauthenticated deserialization vulnerability that enables remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This exploitation occurs through the actor-pool TCP channel, where attackers can manipulate the data sent over the SocketChannel.recv() function. By passing unvalidated data to cloudpickle.loads(), an inherent flaw allows executing pickle reduce gadgets before validating the message type, leading to remote code execution within the server process, which typically operates with elevated privileges on GPU nodes.

Affected Version(s)

xoscar 0.1.0 <= 0.11.2

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
