What is CVE-2026-50139?

The goshs SimpleHTTPServer, used for handling file downloads, has a concurrency vulnerability that allows multiple requests to bypass the intended download limit. Before version 2.1.0, the ShareHandler would read the download token's parameters while under a read lock, serve files, and then re-acquire the lock to update the download count. This process creates a race condition where concurrent requests may read the same count simultaneously, resulting in the intended download cap being exceeded. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 2.1.0.
