Stack-Based Buffer Overflow in Tenda CP3 Firmware
CVE-2026-51601
7.5HIGH
What is CVE-2026-51601?
The Tenda CP3 V3.0 firmware version 31.1.9.91 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its RTSP service. This flaw arises due to inadequate validation of the length of the clock= value in the Range header field during the processing of PLAY requests. An unauthenticated remote attacker, having completed a standard RTSP session handshake, can exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted PLAY request with an excessively long clock= value, potentially leading to a crash of the RTSP service.
