Stack-based Buffer Overflow Vulnerability in Tenda CP3 V3.0 RTSP Service
CVE-2026-51602
7.5HIGH
What is CVE-2026-51602?
A vulnerability has been identified in the RTSP service of Tenda CP3 V3.0 that allows a remote attacker to exploit a stack-based buffer overflow. By sending a specially crafted SETUP request containing a URL that includes four consecutive repetitions of a valid RTSP URL, an attacker can bypass initial validation checks. This can lead to a crash of the RTSP service process, resulting in a denial of service that makes the device inaccessible to all clients on the local network.
