What is CVE-2026-51880?

DeepTutor version 1.4.0 is vulnerable to a path traversal issue caused by improper handling of user input through the EditFileTool.execute function. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to manipulate the live tutorbot WebSocket interface, potentially leading to unauthorized writing or editing of files outside the designated workspace. Such unauthorized access can compromise the integrity of the system and expose sensitive information.
