What is CVE-2026-53627?

GLPI, a free asset and IT management software, contains a vulnerability that allows low-privileged authenticated users to perform update operations via the new API (version 2) that are otherwise restricted through the graphical user interface. This flaw arises from inconsistent enforcement of authorization checks within the API update flow. The vulnerability has been addressed and mitigated in version 11.0.8.
