What is CVE-2026-53709?

The MCP Context Forge platform contains a significant security flaw due to the inclusion of a hardcoded JWT_SECRET_KEY in its configuration files. This allows remote, unauthenticated attackers to generate valid administrator tokens without any database credentials. When conditions such as the presence of a matching subject email for the platform administrator and specific configuration options are met, an attacker can leverage this vulnerability to obtain elevated access rights. This situation persists across various user lifecycle events, including password changes and account deletions, potentially leading to unauthorized administrative access, data manipulation, and service disruption. Users are advised to upgrade to version 1.0.2 or later, where this issue has been resolved.
