What is CVE-2026-53925?

The Glances monitoring tool enables arbitrary command execution and file manipulation due to insecure handling of configuration values in its secure_popen() function. Attackers with access to modify the Glances configuration file can exploit this vulnerability to redirect files, chain commands, or pipe outputs to unintended programs without validation. This flaw affects versions from 4.0.8 to 4.5.5, allowing unauthorized access and manipulation of the filesystem.
