What is CVE-2026-53942?

The Conda Organization Infrastructure is susceptible to a Pwn Request vulnerability prior to commit 9c0f238. This security flaw exists in the GitHub Actions workflow where external inputs are processed in an unsandboxed Jinja2 environment. When certain comments trigger the workflow, the system can inadvertently execute attacker-controlled template content. This could enable untrusted code execution in a privileged context, potentially leading to significant security breaches. The vulnerability has been addressed in commit 9c0f238, which mitigates the risk involved.
