What is CVE-2026-54067?

The SiYuan Personal Knowledge Management System is susceptible to a significant cross-site scripting vulnerability prior to version 3.7.0. This allows an attacker to exploit the CSS snippet functionality within the application, where maliciously crafted CSS snippets can invoke arbitrary JavaScript by exploiting the renderSnippet() function. When executed in environments with node integration enabled, such as Electron desktop builds, this vulnerability allows for remote code execution, presenting a severe risk of system compromise. Furthermore, the vulnerability bypasses user-configured settings designed to restrict untrusted JavaScript execution, making it critical for users to update to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
