What is CVE-2026-54166?

The Shelf platform allows authenticated users with the asset:import permission to exploit a flaw in the Asset CSV Content Import feature. Before version 1.20.3, the validation logic for imageUrl was inadequate, enabling attackers to bypass the security measures using various techniques, such as through image extension suffixes and redirect chains. This addiction resulted in a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), allowing attackers access to internal network services and arbitrary endpoints. Additionally, the platform's response size validation issues may lead to memory exhaustion, further complicating the threat landscape. The vulnerability has been resolved in version 1.20.3.
