What is CVE-2026-54287?

Hono, a versatile web application framework that supports various JavaScript runtimes, has a vulnerability affecting its deployment on AWS Lambda. Prior to version 4.12.25, Hono incorrectly joined multiple Set-Cookie headers into a single comma-separated value within its responses for both the ALB single-header and VPC Lattice v2. This misconfiguration prevents clients from accurately parsing individual cookie values, leading to potential data loss or misinterpretation of cookie attributes such as expiration dates. Users are advised to upgrade to version 4.12.25 to mitigate this issue and ensure proper cookie management.
