What is CVE-2026-54336?

The JumpServer platform, which serves as an open-source bastion host and security audit system, has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with SFTP permissions to exploit traversal paths. This flaw affects versions from 4.8.0 to 4.10.16, enabling malicious users to resolve paths outside the designated SFTP root through the KoKo Web Terminal's SFTP feature. This can lead to unauthorized read, write, rename, or delete operations on assets under the configured backend account, posing serious security risks. The issue has been addressed and patched in version 4.10.17.
