What is CVE-2026-54372?

The VitaFit Android application (com.vt.vitafit) prior to version 2.8.1.0 has a vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass TLS/SSL certificate validation. This issue arises due to a custom X509TrustManager that accepts any certificate and a hostname verifier that does not validate hostnames. As a result, malicious actors can carry out man-in-the-middle attacks, intercepting and altering HTTPS traffic. This breach enables attackers to capture sensitive account information and health-related API data, which can be exploited to delete authentication records and lock legitimate users out of their accounts.
