What is CVE-2026-54378?
The VitaFit Cloud API is susceptible to a broken access control issue, allowing any authenticated user to inadvertently gain temporary AWS credentials by invoking the POST /front/user/s3/token/ endpoint. This flaw enables attackers to exploit poorly scoped AWS credentials, granting them unauthorized access to shared storage buckets. Consequently, malicious users can view, manipulate, or overwrite data files belonging to other users, leading to potential data breaches and unauthorized cross-user data access.
