What is CVE-2026-54443?

The Dashy personal dashboard is vulnerable to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack due to improperly sanitized RSS item link values in versions ranging from 1.9.4 to 3.2.0. This flaw allows attackers to exploit the RSS Widget by providing a malicious feed that leverages a javascript: URI. When users interact with feed item titles or 'Read More' links, the malicious script executes within the context of Dashy. A fix was implemented in version 3.2.0, addressing this critical issue.
