In Koel, older versions before 9.7.1 exhibit a vulnerability where outbound podcast and radio fetch paths execute checks on provided URLs without adequately validating and securing redirects. This flaw allows authenticated users to exploit podcast and radio APIs, potentially accessing internal services or cloud metadata. The risk arises from an attacker controlling redirect paths, leading to unauthorized data exposure. The issue has been addressed in version 9.7.1.
