What is CVE-2026-54560?

A vulnerability in Cloudreve's file management system allows OAuth access tokens to be issued without the client_id claim. As a result, the JWT verifier fails to load necessary token scopes into the request context. This oversight creates a risk where a low-scope token can access APIs intended for higher permission levels, such as file sharing, user settings, and potentially administrative functions. The issue has been addressed in version 4.16.1, significantly enhancing the security of OAuth interactions.
