What is CVE-2026-54910?

FileBrowser Quantum, a self-hosted web-based file manager, contains a path traversal vulnerability due to insufficient sanitization of user-controlled query parameters in the subtitlesHandler endpoint. This issue allows authenticated users to manipulate the path and name parameters to access arbitrary files on the server, including sensitive files like system configurations and credential data. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.4.3-beta, which implements proper sanitization measures.
