What is CVE-2026-55095?

OpenProject, an open-source project management software, has a vulnerability that allows authenticated non-admin project members to access in-place edit dialogs for custom project attributes. This occurs in versions 17.5.1 and earlier, where the dialog reveals hidden comments linked to custom fields due to a lack of proper visibility enforcement. Although the actual custom field values remain secure, this exposure could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information. The issue has been resolved in version 17.6.0.
