What is CVE-2026-55167?
LDAP Account Manager (LAM), a web frontend for managing LDAP directory entries, has a vulnerability that impacts installations using WebAuthn two-factor authentication prior to version 9.6. This issue allows users who have successfully authenticated via password to retain the signed WebAuthn ceremony state in the same PHP session. Thus, an attacker may exploit this behavior to reuse the authentication state improperly, presenting potential security risks. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 9.6, which eliminates this occurrence.
