What is CVE-2026-55390?

The datamodel-code-generator is vulnerable due to improper handling of XML Schema parsing that allows the resolution of schemaLocation values outside the input base path. This can lead to arbitrary local file access, enabling potentially malicious users to read sensitive files and reflect their content into the generated models. The vulnerability affects versions from 0.59.0 to 0.62.0, which has remedied the issue. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to version 0.62.0 to mitigate this risk.
